ProChip: The Hardest Working Decorative Mulch You Can Buy.

ProChip decorative mulch is a quality ground cover recycled from kiln-dried hard and soft wood lumbers.

Incoming wood waste is quality-inspected before undergoing an extensive grinding process. Magnets remove ferrous contaminants from the chipped wood, which is then screened to ensure consistent chip size. Finally, computer-controlled equipment applies an environmentally safe colorant to the chips, providing uniform color and saturation.

Long Lasting Color

Color is an essential component of any landscaping project, and ProChip decorative mulch provides the deep, rich coloration and longevity you need. Since the color actually penetrates the wood fiber, it resists weathering and retains its color longer than natural barks. Its natural tones dress up any landscaping.

Other Benefits of Using Pro-Chip:

Environment ProChip is made form 100% Recycled kiln-dried lumber that would otherwise go to waste.

Resistance to Erosion. Due to the linear shape of ProChip, it will stay in place on steep slopes where fir bark will tend to roll or float.

Fire Resistance. Unlike redwood or cedar barks that are friable and fluffy, ProChip is chunky and lays flat on the ground which reduces its ignitability.

Ease of Spreading. Shredded barks tend to mat together, and are difficult to spread evenly. The free-flowing nature of ProChip makes it easy to spread at a consistent depth.

Experts Agree...ProChip Covers All Their Needs!

"(Compared to hardwood bark), ProChip decorative mulch provided more consistent weed control... Seasonal growth of annuals, perennials, and shrubs mulched with ProChip was greater than that with bark..."

"(ProChip) is actually more effective than bark mulch... the colored mulch decomposes much more slowly, and the color holds up longer than (natural) mulch..."
